When you sell silk, every detail matters. The texture, the tone, the light—everything needs to whisper (or shout) luxury. So when it came time to shoot our new collection of silk pillowcases, sleep masks, and scrunchies, we knew we needed a professional eye to do our vision justice. Enter Jack Pickerill of Teal Studios.

This shoot was a mix of two worlds: clean, minimal e-commerce photography, and stylised, scroll-stopping creative content for social media. And Jack absolutely nailed both.

Planning the Dream

We began by collaborating on a full shot list—white background product images for our website, and soft, elegant still lifes that radiate that DREAMSILK™ energy. Think: flowing silk, natural light, and a luxurious, calm vibe that makes you want to crawl into bed right then and there.

Lights, Camera, Tranquillity

With a Nikon D850, macro lens, and a professional lighting setup of four strobes and soft diffusion, Jack created soft, natural textures that highlight the true elegance of silk. Shooting tethered to a monitor meant we could give feedback live—because every fold, every glint of light, every frame had to feel like royalty.
